SARAH Millican is coming to Warrington to present her fourth stand-up show, Outsider.

The Geordie comedian will be at the Parr Hall on Tuesday, December 8, as part of a huge 119-date UK tour.

In just seven years Sarah has gone from winning the Best Newcomer Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to becoming one of the country’s most successful and multi-award-winning comics.

A natural storyteller, the 39-year-old's routines take the form of gag-packed anecdotes about life's curiosities.

The new show is about how her attitude to having a day out in the great outdoors has changed.

In the past Sarah asked things like: "Why? Where is the taxi? Do I need a cardie?"

And she said things like: "There’ll be wasps. I’ve nothing to sit on. Is that poo? Can we go home?"

But things have changed. Now she has outside slippers and can tell a chaffinch from a tit (hey). But she still can’t tell if that strange sound is an owl or her husband’s asthma.

Outsider follows on from Sarah’s last sold-out tour, Home Bird, which was seen by more than 200,000 people.

Starting this October, the comedian will be on the road until September 2016.

As well as her success at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Live at the Apollo regular was also voted the People’s Choice Queen of Comedy at the 2011 British Comedy Awards.

Sarah, who lives in the Knutsford area with her comedian husband Gary Delaney, has fronted three series of her Bafta-nominated BBC2 series The Sarah Millican Television Programme.

Beating the likes of Victoria Wood, Jo Brand and Dawn French, Sarah also holds the record as the highest selling female comedian with 700,000 DVD sales.

Sarah is the latest big name comedian to announce a date in Warrington after Alan Carr performed March 13.

The Palmyra Square venue has also attracted the likes of Jason Manford and John Bishop.

Sarah Millican brings Outsider to Parr Hall on December 8. Tickets are £25 and are on sale tomorrow, Friday at 9am.
