TRAVELLERS have set up camp in Victoria Park.
Warrington Borough Council and Cheshire Police are working together to resolve the situation after at least nine caravans moved on to the park over the weekend.
Police officers visited the site this morning.
A council spokesman said: “We are aware of the encampment on Victoria Park and are working with Cheshire Police to resolve the situation.
“We will be following our procedures and will seek a court notice to move them on if necessary.”
