INVESTIGATIONS are still on going into an alleged sexual assault at Creamfields festival last year.

The sex attack is said to have take place in a tent at the annual music festival between Sunday, August 24, and Monday, August 25.

The victim from Scotland, who is in her early twenties, reported the incident once the festival had drawn to a close.

A man was arrested following an investigation by both Scottish Police and Cheshire Police.

But the suspect has now been eliminated from the investigation and was released with no further action.

Police are now keen to speak to the man pictured who may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The man is described as white, around aged 21, approximately 5′ 8" tall and of medium build.

He had dark hair which, at the time of the festival, was shaved all over and was wearing a white short sleeved t shirt, and he had a chain around his neck with two rings on it.

He claimed his name was Jamie, and had a Scottish accent, and may be from the East Kilbride area of Scotland.

Anyone with information is urged to call the non-emergency number 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
