THROUGHOUT 2015 we will be celebrating the people who help make Warrington special.

Inspired by the Humans of New York blog, we will be providing names to faces you may see everyday and telling their stories.

NAME: Paul Warburton

AGE: 31

LIVES: Stockton Heath

OCCUPATION: Personal trainer at Warrington Fitness Academy in Evans House, Norman Street

"My business started after I lost my job as a web developer at Barclays during the credit crunch, split up from my wife, had my house repossessed and turned to drink and drugs.

"I got into a bit of trouble and after more than three months of that I got a bit of a slap off my mum and started training at the gym.

"I think about how my life could be different every day as I only went to the gym that first time because it was snowing heavily so nobody could come to my birthday party and the gym in town was the only place that was open.

"I signed up and really enjoyed it but there was something missing from the experience which is why I went on a personal trainer course.

"The business started in my spare bedroom and grew to outdoor bootcamps at 6am on Saturday mornings in Westbrook with 100 people attending one session.

"We used to get lots of beeps, toots and waves but now we offer month-long bootcamps for frustrated mums who struggle with going to the gym at Warrington Fitness Academy."
