WEST Yorkshire indie rockers The Cribs are to play a live set at Head record store in Golden Square on Tuesday, March 24.

The three brothers will also be signing copies of their new record, For All My Sisters, after performing in store at 5pm.

From the unlikely beginning of working in a toilet paper factory in Wakefield with their dad, The Cribs went from toilet roll to rock and roll when they signed to Wichita Records.

Their 2004 self-titled record scraped into the UK charts at number 96 but they went on to tour the world and notch up two top 10 album with Ignore The Ignorant and In the Belly of the Brazen Bull.

Former Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr was also a member of the band from 2008 to 2011.

But the Men's Needs singers have gone on to have just as much success since.

In 2012, The Cribs won the Spirit of Independence award at the Q Awards and scooped the Outstanding Contribution to Music award at the NME Awards just months later.

Their performance and signing at Head comes a day after the release of their sixth album, For All My Sisters, and is the first for their new label Sonic Blew/Sony Red.

For a priority ticket for the signing, all you need to do is pre-order the record in store at Head. For more information email warrington@ehead.co.uk
