SENIOR leaders at the town first Future Tech Studio School are on the hunt for more businesses to join forces with.

The school, which is the first of its kind in Warrington, offers a new type of learning for students aged 14 to 19.

Pupils at the school, which is based on the Warrington Collegiate campus on Winwick Road, have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the workplace while studying.

Future Tech Studio is the result of a partnership between Warrington Collegiate Education Trust and more than 30 key employers within the IT and telecommunications, business and finance and engineering sector.

But, with the school set to expand as it rolls into its second year, education chiefs are looking for additional employer partners to offer students work placements, master classes, workshops, curriculum consultation and sponsorship.

A coffee morning will be held on Wednesday, March 4, from 9am to 10.30amfor current employer partners and any other businesses who are interested in working with the school.

Those interested in attending must register at ftsee.eventbrite.co.uk.
