MEMBERS of a widow and widower support group have urged others to get in touch who need a helping hand following the death of their partner.
The club, which meets on a Thursday at 8pm at the Bellhouse Lane Pub in Grappenhall, meet weekly to act as a support system to those who need it.
Pam Moore, who has been a member for the past 17 years, said: "It first started in 1988 because it was felt that we needed a club and support group in the area.
"The three main objectives are to meet and make new friends, discover new interests for bereaved people and to act as a support group."
The club arranges trips out, activities and events throughout the year.
There is an annual membership fee of £5.
