THEY were a gang who endangered the lives of others by using gas-blast tactics to crudely and dangerously to blow up cash points including two in Warrington.

This dramatic footage shows the hooded thugs raiding a bank in Liverpool, part of a north west-wide criminal operation that saw £800,000 stolen.

Meanwhile, detectives continue to hunt for two of Merseyside's most wanted fugitives from the gang.

Adam Murphy and Andrew White were part of the criminal crew who felt 'untouchable' when using gas to cause cash machines to explode, risking the lives of anyone nearby.

Two of the 28 dangerous raids happened at Barclays, Lodge Drive, Culcheth, and Barclays, Dewhurst Road, Birchwood.

Murphy, aged 29, and White, aged 25, remain on the run and are wanted for conspiracy to cause explosions at cash machines and burglary of bank and shop premises between January 2013 and December 2013.

White had been detained in Spain but has disappeared since being released on police bail in connection to an unknown offence.

Detectives believe Murphy may be in Scotland.
