MOTORWAY police are warning of long delays on the M6 near Warrington after a lorry crashed down an embankment and shed its load of energy drinks on the carriageway.
Lane one is expected to be closed for around four hours on the M6 southbound between J19 and J18.
Queues are being reported back to J20, Lymm.
The Highways Agency said a HGV and car were involved in the collision at 11.30am today, Wednesday.
A 54-year-old man was driving the Vauxhall car, with a 55-year-old female passenger.
A 46-year-old man was driving the lorry.
Cheshire Police said only minor injuries were reported.
There is also slow moving traffic northbound on the M6 between J18/19 due to motorists slowing down to look. #keepmoving

Lane two was closed but is now open again.
A police investigation is taking place at the scene.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
