A major apprenticeship event held in Warrington attracted around 900 people from across the north west to find out more about job opportunities with some of the region’s biggest employers.
The Warrington apprenticeship job and careers fair was held on Thursday at The Centre, Birchwood Park.
Young people and parents met with more than 40 high profile employers and organisations, to discuss opportunities, and how to apply for vacancies in 2015.
Claire Blott, interim divisional director for the National Apprenticeship Service, said: “This event brought over 450 job opportunities to young people under one roof.
“Hiring apprentices is a proven way of attracting new talent and developing a motivated, skilled and diverse workforce, which is why it was fantastic to see such a great turnout this week."
Aldi, Barclays, Bentley Motors, and Jaguar Land Rover all exhibited at the event.
