Commuters hit with rush hour swing bridge delays
MOTORISTS have been hit with long delays this morning after the Stockton Heath swing bridge opened during rush hour traffic.
According to the Traffic Warrington Twitter feed, the A5060 Chester Road swing bridge closed to traffic at 8.35am, then the A49 London Rd and A50 Knutsford Rd bridge.
Cllr Bob Barr tweeted after the announcement: "If this is Peel (MSC Co) being 'helpful' and 'cooperative' I'd hate to see them doing what they want :-("
