ST Rocco’s Hospice is staging a free supper for carers and patients along with entertainment on February 13.

The ‘Friday night hot pot supper’ provides the chance for those attending to meet others, relax and socialise, while of course enjoying a scrumptious meal.

The evening is completely free and provides a fantastic opportunity for residents in the town – whether already known to St Rocco’s or not - to experience the hospice in an informal setting.

It follows the successful ‘fish and chip supper’ held in October, which was enjoyed by over 20 carers and patients.

“We recognise that carers play a crucial role in helping patients manage their illnesses, and that often they neglect their own needs for others,” said St Rocco’s matron, Alison White.

“The hot pot supper is our way of offering them a free opportunity to relax and meet other carers, and enjoy some time with their loved ones in a sociable setting.

“We’re very welcoming at St Rocco’s, and would love to see some new faces join us for the evening, as well as existing friends.”
