WHERE would you find unsigned divorce papers, 10 hazard cones and an artificial leg?
The answer is a hotel chain's bizarre list of 'left behinds' in Warrington.
Staff at Travelodge have revealed some of the items guests have left behind at the group's hotels in the town centre, including a roll of bespoke tartan fabric, a tabby cat called Tiddles and 10 hazard cones, and a set up Scalectrix set with three cars, a 6 ft fully decorated Christmas tree, unsigned divorce papers and a bonsai tree at the Gemini hotel.
Shakila Ahmed, Travelodge Spokeswoman said: “Our 2014 left behind register also revealed how much smart technology has become a part of our everyday lives, as we have had 12,000 tablets and smartphones left behind in our hotels in the last 12 months."
The top 10 most popular items left behind in Travelodge hotels in Warrington in 2014 include chargers for mobile phones and electronic devices such as laptops, mobile phones, books, pyjamas and teddy bears.
All items left behind, which have not been claimed within three months, are donated to local charity shops.
