RESIDENTS in Warrington have been reminded of a winter heating scheme that could help through any cold snap.
Snow has been suggested over the festive period and vulnerable homeowners can receive aid through Npower's 'Health Through Warmth' initiative.
The energy provider works with a range of charities to provide winter help to fund things like a new boiler or insulation.
Elaine Midwinter, scheme manager, comments: “With winter upon us, and temperatures set to plummet in the weeks ahead, it’s important that people look out for the vulnerable in their communities. We’re calling on residents in Warrington to keep an eye on friends, family and neighbours, whose health could be made worse because of a broken down heating system.”
Applicants do not have to be an Npower customer.
