A UNIQUE network for older people in the town has launched a range of retirement schemes to encourage people to stay active and social.

LifeTime activities are available to any Warrington resident aged 50 and above and who has signed up as a LifeTime member, which is free to join.

From fitness classes to singing social groups, there are activities planned across the town to keep people connected while having fun at the same time.

In the next few months, new sessions are expected to be introduced including film clubs, afternoon tea events and music groups.

Each session costs £2.50 and is payable on the day but booking is required.

LifeTime, which is based on Sankey Street, is a network for people over the age of 50 in the Warrington area, which provides support, advice, training and events.
