A HARDWORKING nurse from Great Sankey got a big surprise on TV tonight as Strictly Come Dancing star Mark Wright turned up outside her door with a bunch of flowers.
The reality star took a break from the ballroom to visit Pam Greenwood and congratulate her on 35 years service at Warrington Hospital.
Viewers saw Pam receive her beautiful bouquet during an ad break in tonight's episode of Surprise Surprise on ITV.
She added: “I feel so privileged because lots of people do so many things to help others on a daily basis and I was just doing my job.
“I love working at the hospital and taking care of others, I’ve been here my whole working life and wouldn’t dream of changing profession.
“I can’t believe I had the chance to meet Mark Wright. The whole experience has been amazing!”
Mark will be surprising one more special person during the advertising break on December 17.
