THE University of Chester, who has a campus in Padgate, has united with a leading digital agency to develop specialist programmes which are tailored to meet the needs of employers.

In conjunction with UK agency Blue Leaf, the courses are accredited by the Institute of Digital and Direct Marketing with a number of postgraduate qualifications available, ranging from a certificate in digital marketing to a master’s programme.

The course is delivered in two-day intensive workshop sessions, so that it can be studied part time but full time options are also available.

Associate dean of Warrington School of Management professor Lawrence Bellamy, said: “We are delighted to be offering a range of professional digital marketing courses that are so closely aligned to business needs.

“The programmes have been carefully developed to help employers close skills gaps and help professionals gain a practical qualification that will help them plan, manage and implement digital marketing campaigns.”

The next course begins in January.
