ST Rocco's Hospice joined forces with Lloyds Bank to put on a bake sale which raised over £850.

An additional donation of £500 from the bank, in Golden Square, brought the total to money raised to £1360.66, and will go towards patient care at the hospice.

The sale was held within the branch in the town centre and staff at Lloyds were glad to offer their helping hand to the charity.

“All of the team here at Lloyds are delighted to support St Rocco’s Hospice," said branch manager Paul Hynes.

"Many of our staff and customers have been touched by the work of St Rocco’s and we are so pleased to be able to support such a wonderful local cause.”

Corporate Fundraiser at the hospice, Helen Latham, wished to thank everybody that helped during the event.

“The team at Lloyds Bank have put a great deal of effort into this bake sale and with costs of over £3.2million per year, all of us here at St Rocco’s Hospice are incredibly grateful for their support," she said.
