FANS' favourite Ben Westwood's new wife Debbie no doubt had something old, something new, something borrowed and something primrose and blue when she tied the knot with the Warrington Wolves star on Saturday.

Current and former teammates, including Jon Clarke and Adrian Morley, joined in the celebrations at the weekend.

The ceremony took place at St Elphin's Church before the reception at the Fir Grove Hotel on Knutsford Old Road.

Debbie was given away by her dad Melvin and son Jake, aged 20, and had five bridesmaids including their daughters Tyler, aged 14, Gracie, aged four and life-long family friend Emma Charlton.

Teammate Paul Wood had guests laughing with his best man's speech while the happy couple's daughter Tyler ensured there was barely a dry eye in the house opening the evening entertainment singing the Power of Love.

Wedding guest and friend Ste Charlton added: "She's got a brilliant voice and I think there were a few tears in peoples' eyes when she sang for her mum and dad.

"It was really good day and a great turn out with guests including Chris Hill, Ritchie Myler, Stefan Ratchford and Mickey Lomax who owns Total Steel and was really supportive through Ben's testimonial year.

"During the afternoon he also had the group Motown Magic play who had played before at his testimonial dinner."
