MOTORISTS should prepare themselves for another potential traffic headache after an exit slip road on to the M56 was closed earlier this afternoon after a lorry crash had spilled bottles of wine across the carriageway.
Delays of 90 minutes are currently expected following the incident on the M56 Eastbound at J12 A557 (Runcorn) with congestion backing up to J15 of the M53.
Two lorries have been reported as being involved in the crash with one carrying a shed load of wine.
A spokesman added: "Some of the shed load of wine has spilled onto the lane one of the main carriageway. "Queues are back to Chester."
