A COUPLE planning to raise money for a dog charity by cycling the Transpennine Trail are appealing for help after one of their bikes was stolen in Warrington town centre.
Lisa Taylor and Paul Dodgson, of Cabul Close, Orford, say they will offer a reward for the bike, if it is found.
The men's Whyte 603 mountain bike, worth £525, was stolen from the bike rack of Pure Gym Central, Fennel Street, on Wednesday afternoon.
Lisa said Paul had joined the gym as he was training to cycle along the Transpennine Trail to raise money for the SOI Dog Foundation.
"My partner works very hard for what we have only for scum to take it in seconds," said Lisa.
"We were planning on doing charity bike rides with them."
