A MILLION-POUND investment to tackle congestion problems and improve response time to incidents has been unveiled for the M6.
Motorists in the town are set to benefit from the £1.4m and £130,000 projects to add more than 12 CCTV cameras along the M6 between junctions 16 and 19 and junctions 20 and 21 at the Thelwall Viaduct.
This is part of a wider scheme where roads in Cheshire which will undergo £303m worth of road improvements over the next few years with some significant investment in the county’s motorways and major A road network over the next few months by the Highways Agency.
