What the cluck? Woman calls police over 18 inch cockerel flapping around garden
CHESHIRE Police got something of a strange call at the weekend - after a woman in Penketh reported an '18 inch cockerel' had turned up in her garden.
The female resident, who lives on Windmill Lane, called Warrington West NPU at 2.15pm on Saturday.
She said she had found the male chicken in her front garden and needed to find the owner.
Police at the neighbourhood unit gave her the number for the RSPCA.
