X FACTOR finalist Lola Saunders will be turning on the Christmas lights in Birchwood on Thursday.
The Geordie fishmonger-turned-singing star will be performing at 7.45pm at Birchwood Shopping Centre before a countdown and fireworks at 8pm.
Ryan Atkins from the Warrington Wolves, Eclipse dance troupe, Britain’s Got Talent 2010 semi-finalist Olivia Archbold and Great Sankey's Chloe-Rose Cowan, who sang at Wembley Arena as part of Voice in a Million, will also be taking part in the Christmas Extravaganza from 5pm to 8pm.
Meanwhile, Sid from Ice Age will be posing for photographs with families and Birchwood’s mascot Woody the Bear will be on hand in a free face painting and balloon modelling area.
