'CHATTY Man' Alan Carr is coming to Warrington next year for an evening of camp humour, banter and anecdotes.

The BAFTA and British Comedy Award-winning comedian, author and chat show host is returning to his stand-up roots with his new show, Yap, Yap, Yap.

Alan, who met and performed for the Queen at the Royal Variety Show, will hit the road in February for a staggering 120-date tour, including a date at the Parr Hall on Friday, March 13.

It is a more intimate show after Alan's arena tours Tooth Fairy Live in 2007 and Spexy Beast Live in 2011.

And it will be akin to coming home as although the 38-year-old grew up in Northampton he cut his teeth on the nearby Manchester comedy circuit.

Alan, who used to work in a supermarket and a call centre for lost and stolen credit cards, counts fellow northern comedians Jason Manford, Justin Moorhouse and John Bishop among his friends.

Alan won the City Life Best Newcomer of the Year and the BBC New Comedy Award and he became a household name when he hosted Channel 4’s The Friday Night Project and Celebrity Ding Dong.

But his big TV breakthrough came in 2009 with Chatty Man which celebrated its 100th episode in September 2013 with A-list guests Justin Timberlake and Rihanna. The show is set to continue next year.

Jo Sawley, press and publicity officer for Parr Hall, said: "A born storyteller, Alan is an absolute natural on stage. It’s a new show, so anything could happen…and probably will. Get your seats early and watch the mayhem unfold."
