Lane closed after lorry and van crash on M62 at Croft Interchange
A VAN driver had to be cut from his vehicle on the M62 eastbound at Croft Interchange after a collision with a lorry.
Cheshire Police say the incident was reported at around 3.20pm today, Tuesday.
The exit sliproad to the M6 southbound has been closed due to the accident.
Congestion on the M62 has been reported back to J9 Winwick, with drivers advised to avoid the area.
The van driver has been taken to hospital, but police say his injuries are not thought to be serious.
The driver of the lorry was not injured, say police.
