TEA and talk were on the agenda at Warrington Marketon Friday as the town's mental health forum hosted the event to mark 'World mental health day'.

The aim of the event was to address the myths around mental health problems, promote emotional wellbeing and to help residents become more aware of the services that offer information, support or advice including self help group Mood Swings Network Warrington based at Warrington Day Centre on Allen Street near the town centre.

Clr Pat Wright, executive board member for health, wellbeing and adult services said: “The message for today is to let people know that there are people out there who can support you if you feel you need it. If you have a mental health issue, don’t be afraid to talk about it."

Anyone finding it hard to cope can talk to their GP or ring the Warrington and Halton Assessment Team on 666647, 24 hours a day.
