CHESHIRE Police are warning motorists to take care on the roads today as the region feels the tail end of Hurricane Gonzalo.
A fallen tree and overhead cables blocked Ditchfield Lane in High Legh, near to the Garden Centre, and another fallen tree closed Wrenshot Lane both ways.
There were also reports about a fallen tree blocking Rectory Lane in Lymm.
Debris on a number of roads in Warrington is causing congestion across the town.
The speed limit has been reduced to 50mph on the Thelwall Viaduct due to strong gusts of wind.
