WARRINGTON residents are invited to attend the opening of a new garden at Orford Jubilee Park on Sunday.

My Garden, designed by Alan Nugent, LiveWire’s park keeper, Long Lane Garden Centre and Golden Gates Housing, is the latest edition to the park.

The plot is aimed at representing a typical garden to help demonstrate what can be done with an outdoor space.

Within the feature there is a shed, utility and seating area, lawn, water feature and a mix of flower beds and borders.

The borders also include edible crops, promoting growing your own fruit and vegetables, for a healthy lifestyle.

A live demonstration will also be given to show how a nutritious meal can be made.

Park keeper Alan said: “I’m thrilled My Garden has been erected in Orford Park.

"We wanted it to be placed where local residents can come and relax and take some inspirational ideas on what they can do in their own back garden."
