NETWORK Warrington has announced its new managing director who will be tasked with tackling the challenges facing the bus industry.
Damian Graham, who has worked for Warrington Borough Transport Limited for more than 37 years, said he will be taking a 'hands-on approach' to the job and aims to lead by example.
He added: "I am a strong believer in recognising that our workforce is our most important asset.
"The bus industry continues to face some challenging times and the company needs to keep abreast of the many developments to improve the service that it provides to existing customers and to encourage more people to travel by public transport in future years."
Mr Graham started his career as an apprentice in 1977 and has worked his way up from the shop-floor to manager and director level.
Chairman, Maureen Banner said: “We are delighted that Damian has accepted this role and I, the board of Network Warrington and the shareholder give him our full support in his new position."
