Man rescued from trapped car on Daresbury Expressway
A MAN had to be rescued after he was trapped in his vehicle following a crash on the A558 Daresbury Expressway this morning.
Firefighters were forced to remove the roof of the car to reach the man, who is believed to be in his 50s, at around 7.30am.
He was later rushed to Warrington Hospital where he is being treated for minor head injuries.
Warnings have been issued due to slow moving traffic caused by the crash and nearby roadworks near to the junction of Chester Road.
