Blue badge parking charges set to be discussed by hospital chiefs
BLUE badge car parking charges will be discussed at Warrington Hospital's board meeting tomorrow, Thursday.
A number of readers have been raising concerns over possible charges following signs going up around the Lovely Lane hospital with details of a new parking system.
Blue badge holders can currently park for free on site but following automatic licence-plate recognition technology being installed it is not yet known what will happen to disabled patients and visitors.
Residents can attend the public meeting from 1pm in the trust conference room at Warrington Hospital.
