The annual nationwide coffee and cake fundraiser supporting the cancer charity has so far raised more than £1million in 2014 with plenty of groups and households in Warrington adding to the total.
Lea Court Independent Hospital in Dallam, which cares for males with severe mental health conditions, raised £366 while corporate staff at Hollins Park in Winwick raised more than £600 for the 'World’s biggest coffee morning'.
Businesses also got involved with Johnson’s Hairdressing on Sankey Street inviting customers to tuck into tasty treats with £372 going towards breast cancer charity Genesis.
Kind-hearted colleagues and customers at The Co-operative’s food store on Kingsway South, collected more than £500 for Macmillan with their coffee morning while Chapelford Sainsbury's raised £327.
Families also did their bit for the cause with Great Sankey resident Linda McGreal hosting a coffee morning at her house with family and friends and raised £525.
