A TEENAGER from Winwick Park Avenue is hoping to follow in her sisters’ footsteps but she needs a helping hand to turn her dream a reality.
Faye Nelson was left inspired to help make a difference after visiting her sister, Hope, while she was volunteering at an orphanage in India earlier this year.
Now the 14-year-old needs to raise £1,300 to fly out to South Africa to visit the Matseliso High in Soweto next October as part of a volunteer programme.
The Culcheth High School pupil, who plans to organise a series of fundraisers throughout the year, said: “It was good to visit the orphanage and help the kids when I visited my sister in India.
“I would love to be able to do some more volunteer work and help make a difference.”
