CREATIVE types can indulge in their passion with two new classes in Fairfield and Howley.
Tonight, Tuesday a group for those interested in crafting gets under way where you can learn more about and share skills in sewing, knitting, crochet and other crafts.
The group will work together on some community projects such as bunting for the park and The Old School for upcoming events.
And it is also a chance to develop your own skills to help you create your own clothes, alterations and repairs.
The sessions will run at The Pavilion Tea Rooms on St Elphin’s Park at 7.30pm.
On Thursday a new theatrical group - Fairfield Player Group - will launch its first session.
The group is hoping to produce a pantomime in January next year with further plans for a music hall style event if there is plenty of talent to show off.
The group will meet at The Old School, on Fairfield Road, from 7.30pm.
