CHESHIRE Police are appealing for witnesses after a 20-year-old pedestrian believed to be leaving Creamfields suffered fatal injuries in a collision with a car.

Emergency crews were called to the incident at 3.45am on Monday, at the junction of Chester Road and the Daresbury Expressway.

According to reports, a Toyota Hilux collided with the man, who is from Glasgow.

He was rushed to Aintree Hospital in Liverpool where he later died.

The driver of the Toyota did not sustain any injuries.

The family of the pedestrian have been informed.

Police say no arrests have been made at this stage.
