AN appeal has been launched to encourage supply teachers in the town to take part in an online survey by Warrington-based agency, PK education.
The questionnaire aims to gain a greater insight into the experiences of supply teachers.
Paul Gallagher, director of PK education Warrington, said: “Supply teachers can sometimes be criticised but we feel this is without much thought to the conditions in which they are working.
“They can often feel isolated and unappreciated due to the nature of their work, which often involves spending short periods in schools.
“However they are highly skilled professionals who often don’t get the recognition and appreciation that they deserve.”
Supply teachers, who complete the online survey which consists of 10 questions, will be in with the chance of winning £200 worth of high street Vouchers.
Questions must be answered by August 31.
