ANOTHER new occupier has been confirmed for Omega with hundreds more jobs promised for the business park.
Omega Warrington Ltd (OWL) has put in a planning application for a six hectare plot on Omega South.
The logistics business will be based at the north west corner of the site and will include warehouse space plus a two storey office development.
The new premises will sit within ‘Zone 7’, the section of Omega South granted ‘outline’ planning consent in May.
If permission is granted, it would be the second business to open on the site with the Asda warehouse now well under way.
It is due to open on the former RAF Burtonwood site next year.
Skyline Drive, currently under construction for Asda, will be extended out to Omega Boulevard and will be completed to tie in with the new building.
A decision is expected in the new few months.
