FOLLOWING their big come back, Embrace have announced a gig at Parr Hall.

The indie rockers will perform in Warrington on December 2.

Embrace’s announcement follows two sold out shows at London's Shepherds Bush Empire, festival slots at T In The Park and V Festival and their first new album in seven years.

The Yorkshire quintet’s self-titled fifth CD saw the band experiment with a new electronic sound which has been largely welcomed by fans, reaching the top five in the album charts.

Embrace have been busy performing at major sporting events including the Tour De France 'Grand Depart' in Leeds and the first game of the 2014/2015 football season at Wembley Stadium for the Community Shield between Arsenal and Manchester City.

The band say the aim of their next UK tour is to visit towns they have not played at for more than eight years.

And ahead of the Parr Hall show, they are also releasing a double A-side single featuring ‘In The End’ and ‘Quarters’ on November 24.
