WARRINGTON Foodbank volunteers jumped at the chance to help raise money for the group.
The fabulous five absailed 150ft down the front of Liverpool Cathedral to help more than £620 in sponsorship.
“I’ve never done anything like this before and I didn’t really feel frightened until I stepped off the platform and found myself suspended 150ft in the air,’ said Audrey Davies. “However, it’s great to be able to raise money for the foodbank and to know that what I did will help people in need.”
Lisa Wood, Audrey Davies, Mo Hunter-Choat, Steve Jones and Darren Blackshaw all tackled the challenge to help the service which provides more than 1,000 meals a week in Warrington.
