PLANS to deliver a drugs misuse programme to schools in the town to reduce harm from substance abuse are under way.

The DrugsWatch Trust will be running two training days on Thursday, November 27, 9am to 4pm, and Tuesday, December 2, 9am to 3.30pm, at Cheshire Police HQ in Winsford.

The sessions aim to teach people about the issues surrounding drugs misuse and how to positively contribute to the safety of the communities and crime prevention.

Schools must register their interest to be in with the chance of receiving the training and entries must be submitted by September 31.
