TWO of the stars of Watermen: A Dirty Business will be hitting the small screen for the second time this year.

Call centre workers Vicki Lilliston, aged 25, from Great Sankey, and Lisa Robinson, aged 29, from Chapelford, have been handpicked to help sponsor the ITV Granada and Border regional weather.

Lisa and Vicki will appear in two films to be broadcast before and after the ITV weather forecast starting this week.

United Utilities’ head of customer communications Anne Hobson said: “We hope our little films will give people a glimpse of the real people who are out, whatever the weather, keeping loos flushing and taps running for our 7m customers across the north west.”

Vicki added: “It was good making Watermen but making the recordings for the weather was really fun. Lots of people saw the TV series and I got a few comments in the local pub, and a few drinks too.

“The weather is on several times a day so I don’t know what that will be like. I’ll just cross that bridge when I come to it.”
