TWO Warrington Wolves fans have been banned from The Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Club officials say an 18-year-old has been barred for five years for setting off a flare during the home game with Widnes in April.
While a 40-year-old man has been banned for two years after being in possession of a flare during this month’s Challenge Cup semi-final with Leeds.
A spokesman said action will be taken against anyone found guilty of such an offence.
They added; “Following the recent crowd troubles witnessed at the Tetley’s Challenge Cup Semi Final between Castleford and Widnes, Warrington Wolves would like to assure their fans that public order offences and assaults of any kind that threaten the safety of other persons at The Halliwell Jones Stadium cannot, and will not, be tolerated.”
Banning orders can vary in time between two and 10 years.
