TRY fishing a sessions next week in Stretton.
Warrington Disability Partnership (WDP) has teamed up with Lymm Angling Club to put on free workshops.
Aimed at 11 to 25-year-olds they take place on Wednesday between 10am and noon and noon and 3pm at Spring Pool.
Equipment such as bait, tackle, a seat, nets and rod will all be provided courtesy of Lymm Angling Club.
The sessions are the brainchild of Lymm Angling Club’s Chris Finneran.
Rachael Hanlon, WDP’s children and young persons’ sports development officer, said: “We are really pleased to work with the club to ensure that a fully inclusive fishing session is on offer.
“The taster sessions are suitable for both disabled and non-disabled children and young people. No experience of fishing is necessary!”
