A POLICE officer has been charged with outraging public decency in connection to a number of videos, including some believed to have been filmed in Warrington.

PC Kevin Dwyer, from Greater Manchester Police, has been charged with two counts of voyeurism and ten counts of outraging public decency.

The charges relate to the recovery of a number of videos believed to have been filmed in Manchester, Warrington and Chester.

They follow an investigation by GMP's Counter Corruption Unit.

Mr Dwyer is due to appear at Manchester Magistrates Court on Thursday, August 28.

The officer is currently suspended from duty.
