A LATCHFORD dad, who is set to climb the Great Wall of China to say thank you to the hospital that saved his daughter’s life, prepared for the trek with a 15-mile walk from Alder Hey to Warrington last week.
Christian Persoglio, who will be taking on the challenge in September with friend Carl Wormald, was joined on the journey by four-year-old daughter Mia, who had to undergo major heart surgery at the Liverpool children’s hospital.
Proud mum Natalie added: “The walk went extremely well and people in passing cars and in the street gave generously along the walk.
“They started at Alder Hey and headed straight through to Mia’s nursery, Kids Planet, in Warrington town centre.
“Mia took part and walked the whole distance with 14 other friends from Culture Warrington who were all amazing.”
