Former England stars to feature in Grappenhall match

A STAR team of cricketers will take to the field in Grappenhall later this month to raise money for Age UK.

A team of PCA Masters, including former England legends Mark Ramprakash, Steve Harmison and Alex Tudor will take on an Age UK team lead by Derek Randell on August 24.

The crowd can enjoy a 20/20 game at Grappnehall Cricket Club, Broad Lane, and the event will be followed by a sportsman’s dinner including a three course meal with entertainment, a silent auction, disco and the chance to mingle with the PCA celebrities.

The Age UK team will include 1970s star Randall as well as Grappenhall Cricket Club Captain, Richard Green.

The PCA team also features Dean Headley, Neil Fairbrother, Adam Hollioake, Andy Caddick and Mal Loye Tickets are still available for both the day (£10 for adults and £5 concessions) and evening event (£100 per person or £150 for VIP tickets).
