Samaritans volunteers in Warrington to help out

First published in News

KIND-HEARTED volunteers from Warrington Samaritans were out in force to mark the launch of Talk to Us - the charity’s annual awareness month.

The aim of the month is to raise awareness of the value of talking and to remind people that Warrington Samaritans can be contacted 24 hours a day.

Emma Cooke, branch publicity officer for Warrington, Halton and St Helens Samaritans said: “This wouldn’t have been possible without the time and dedication of the 15 volunteers who gave their time to be at all three events.”

More than £280 was raised across a number of venues.

Samaritans answers more than five million calls a year from people of all ages, backgrounds and circumstances.
