MOTORISTS are facing delays heading into the town centre after two cars were involved in a smash on Knutsford Road.
Police and an ambulance were called to the scene near to the Bridge Foot lights at 8.40am.
An ambulance spokesman confirmed one of the drivers suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution.
