DO you have any knowledge of life in Grappenhall during the First World War?

Volunteers at Grappenhall Community Centre are holding an exhibition of life in the village during the First World War.

'Home and Away - Grappenhall at War' will be held in November and organisers want input from residents, particularly mementos and artefacts.

They would be happy to interview any elderly residents and transcribe their stories that have been passed on to them by their relatives.

The exhibition will take place on November 15 in the Old Barn at Grappenhall Community Centre on Bellhouse Lane.

Anyone with information should call Pauline McManus on 268633 or e-mail enquiries@grappenhall.com.
